CAUSEWAY BAY RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB

The Causeway Bay Rugby Football Club was founded in 1988 with the aim of fostering greater participation and enjoyment of rugby among Hong Kong's local Chinese population. Causeway Bay's first team, the CWB Rams, made its debut in the second division in 1994 and joined the first division in 2004.

Originally primarily a Chinese team, Causeway Bay has long recruited expatriate players and welcomes players and supporters of whatever age, gender, ability or background. Players from Hong Kong, France, New Zealand, the UK, Australia, the US and Canada are part of the Club.

Underlining its commitment to the development of rugby in Hong Kong, Amadeus Causeway Bay now offers a young player a structure in which they can progress from junior rugby to development rugby and on through all grades of men’s rugby towards the national team. Causeway Bay also has large and successful women’s, colts and minis sections.
